Fall Fun in New Jersey

October 30, 2014 by Amanda Willis

We have had a bit of an extended summer here on the Jersey Shore with temperatures hanging out in the upper 60’s and even spoiling us with a 75 degree day this week! But this morning there was that crisp fall chill in the air, and by the looks of the extended forecast, summer is long gone. However, it is still a beautiful time of year to be outside, the leaves are finally changing, there is an amazing fall scent to the air and there are a ton of fun things to do!And just because tomorrow is Halloween does not mean all the picking fun is over! You can pick pumpkins and apples until the first frost, while supplies last that is. Here is a round up of our local favorite spots for fall activities!

This winery is a one stop shop this fall including pumpkin picking, fresh produce and baked goods, live animals and a small bistro to enjoy a bottle of wine and crudite with friends! We found this gem when I was away at college, just down the road from Rowan University, so just about two hours from our current home but definitely worth the drive!
