Local Valentine’s Day Dining Guide

February 11, 2015 by Ashley Willis

We’ve compiled our favorite restaurants for you to visit this Valentine’s Day based on the type of night you want to have and what you’re in the mood for. Red Bank and Asbury Park have so many culinary  delights, we couldn’t fit them all!! Alas there are more reasons to dine out and more of these round-ups to write (wining and dining for life!)

For a relaxing, BYO: The Bistro

The Bistro - Red Bank NJ

The Bistro’s menu is the perfect mix of fresh sushi, brick-oven pizzas, pastas and so much more. Grab a bottle of wine, have a bite and relax in their simple dining room with great service!

(14 Broad Street, Red Bank / 732-530-5553)

For a Unique Location: Moonstruck

Moon Struck Restaurant

American-Mediterranean fare, a great big wine list (we’re sold!), live piano music & a bar. Moonstruck, who was previously closed throughout January for winter vacation, will be open just in time for Valentine’s Day. This unique (yet impressive) location will certainly start your evening right.

(517 Lake Ave, Asbury Park / 732-988-0123)

For a romantic setting: Buona Sera

Buona Sera - Red Bank NJ
Dine as if you were in Italy with romantic music, dim lighting and wonderful service! This is your romantic, formal dining  getaway for the night!

(50 Maple Ave, Red Bank / 732-530-5858)

For lighter fare: Watermark

An iconic spot at the Asbury Park boardwalk, we picked Watermark for its fantastic views, chic interior and unique small plates. Don’t even get us started on how amazing their drink menu is!!

(800 Ocean Ave, Asbury Park / 732-455-3447)

For a Vibrant Night-Out: Pascal & Sabine

Pascal & Sabine has been at the tip of everyone’s tongue lately. Enjoy a menu of classic french dishes in a retro-inspired brasserie. This place is unlike any other, and is sure help you kick-off a romantic, FUN evening!

(601 Bangs Avenue, Asbury Park / 732-774-3395)

For a casual escape: Birravino

Birravino_Beveridge Red Bank NJ

We were pleasantly surprised to visit Birravino recently, which was previously Basil T’s. The Italian comfort food and lively dining room and bar is the perfect escape from the winter cold with your true love!

(183 Riverside Drive, Red Bank / 732-842-5990)
