Get cozy at home this weekend!

While New Jersey got snowed in for the eighth time last week, it was the perfect day to relax with homemade pretzels, Cards Against Humanity and beer! See how super fun snow day here.

I found a great recipe for homemade soft pretzels on Sally’s Baking Addiction, you can find it here! I prefer this recipe in particular because the dough can be made in 30 minutes or less. There was no wait time for the dough to rise and boiling the pretzels is an option not a mandatory step. So these are really simple to make on the weekends and all the ingredients can be found in the pantry.

For a fun spin on the pretzels, I used ┬ábacon flavored salt by J.D’s. Rather than coarse pretzel salt, I sprinkled the original bacon flavor and hickory flavor over the egg wash before baking. The flavor goes great with a beer!

I also did a few cinnamon sugar pretzels to satisfy that sweet tooth!

If you haven’t played Cards Against Humanity, we strongly recommend it! Between the game, beer and grub, you will be on your way to a great night in with tons of laughs!

Our pup Uma loves to play too!

How are you getting through this snowy winter?
