Four Dessert Cocktails

There is no denying that I love cocktails and dessert equally, so it’s no surprise I would try to combine two of my favorites! And now around the holidays, it is especially sweet to unwind after a long day with one of these tasty creations. For your next soiree, skip dessert all together, trust us, and shake up some cocktails that will have your guests totally forget about dessert. Cheers!

S’mores…Shaken not Stirred

Recipe (per serving)

2 oz. Marshmallow vodka
1 oz. Chocolate liqueur
1 oz. Creme de Cacao
2 oz. Cream or half & half
1 oz. Chocolate Syrup
1 Graham cracker, crushed
3 Mini Marshmallows, slightly charred

Rim edge of glass with chocolate syrup and dip in crushed graham crackers. In a shaker, combine, vodka, chocolate liqueur, creme de cacao and cream with ice. Shake vigorously and pour into prepared glass. Under a controlled like a stove top, slightly crisp up your mini marshmallows and thread them on a toothpick as a garnish.

Peppermint Mocha Martini

Recipe (per serving)

I take the easy way out on this cocktail and found a White Peppermint Mocha Mixer at Home Goods, score!

  • 2 oz. White Peppermint Mocha Mix
  • 1 oz. Vodka
  • 1 Candy Cane Crushed

Dip the edge of your glass in a shallow bowl of water so the crushed candy has something to adhere to. In a shaker combine the mix and vodka with ice and once properly shaken, pour straight or over ice into prepared glass.

Adult Hot Chocolate

Recipe (per serving)

Can be served warmed or chilled

  • 1 Packet hot cocoa mix
  • 1 Cup milk
  • 3 oz. Whipped cream vodka
  • 1 oz. Buttershots caramel liqueur

Bring the milk to a simmer in a pot and whisk in the cocoa mix until fully dissolve.  Refrigerate for about 10 – 15 minutes to chill, or five minutes to keep the drink slightly warmed.  Add 1/2 cup of the prepared cocoa to a cocktail shaker along with the vodka and caramel liqueur.  Fill with ice, shake well and pour into cocktail glasses.  Garnish with a ton of mini marshmallows and release your inner child!

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Shooters

This very, very simple to create cocktail tastes just like the cereal, so it is very sweet! Best to be served as a shot.

  • 2 oz Horchata such as Rum Chata
  • 1 oz Fireball

No shaker necessary, just combine both is a glass and stir!
