Dress Up Your Eggs for Easter

April 3, 2015 by Ashley Willis

We were searching for a more unique way to use hard boiled eggs this Easter Sunday, something more creative than simply dying them in an array of different food colorings. So we took to the internet and found plenty of inspiration! Our most favorite ideas was to use the eggs as place card holders for guests’ assigned seats at the dinner table. Here’s a look at our favorite three ideas for you to try this weekend.

1: Egg Planters

This may be a bit more time intensive than simply coloring your eggs, but it’s an impressive end result for your dinner table and a take home prize for guests. Get the tutorial on TheMerryThought.com (here).

2: Natural Egg Basket with Names

As guests arrive for dinner this Sunday, greet them with their own individual egg with their name on it. Have them place it at the dinner table to claim their seat. The simple black ink makes these sophisticatedly simple! See more on Elle.be (here).

3: Initialed Eggs

Short on time? Make your table look well dressed by adding an egg with a printed initial of each guest’s first name to each dinner plate setting! Sleek and simple, yet adds a special detail to your table. Get the look from LoveOfFamilyAndHome.net (here).
